with birthdays (had 3 so far), are at the Orchid Inn. Neil and
crew made my last 3 memorable (I was a guest there at the time). The
staff went out of their way to make "my day" special.
I just had the good fortune to be staying at the Orchid, last I remember was Neil bringing out a case of champagne!" |

"I recommend Orchid Inn, it is a
little bit expensive but it's worth it! They had a nice room, big pool,
restaurant, bars, friendly staff and are very close to Fields
Avenue.
You don't need to take a trike to go in Fields so you save money! If you are new in different areas and they know you are a foreigner the trike driver will charge double and it's not safe late at night (to use a trike). My husband and I stayed in Orchid Inn many times." |

"I'll be there the first weekend
staying at the Orchid. The Orchid in my opinion is the best
around, not because of the rooms, but because of what it has to offer.
The restaurant is top notch and the Orchid staff are very helpful and
nice, but you've heard this before, 75% of AC board members will tell you that
the Orchid is the best hotel to stay at...
..(on arrival) I proceeded to the waiting area, met up with Edwin, my driver out of the Orchid. Don't want to plug the Orchid but I will because they are just that good in every thing they do! (next morning).. Woke early around 9am and hit the famous Orchid Inn breakfast.. Another plug... Sorry but I can't help it!" |

"I just got back from 3 weeks in AC and
spent them all at the Orchid Inn (with the exception of a couple nights
in Makati). I just want to congratulate Marcus on the great job he did
with the new phone system. You can now dial directly out without going through
the receptionist which is a big plus.
I understand they are now working on an itemized listing when checking out, another plus in their favor... It just keeps getting better. Service was fantastic as usual, I already have my reservations for me and my buddy for January. " |

Staff was competent and professional but not quite as friendly as Oasis. In-room safes are great, pool tables and bar area nice, location fantastic. Rooms are nice (I was in room 25) and housekeeping good. Orchids pool area, Lunch BBQ's and location are tops!" | |

| "It's a toss up on the rooms, both are very nice. The staff at both hotels are great as well, but if you enjoy the pool you have to pick the Orchid, really big and super nice. The Central Park has a very small pool and it is in a bad location. Hope this helps and enjoy your trip either way." | |

Orchid Inn but.... I am an anti-terrorism force protection officer
trained by the FBI and other schools in the USA.
The Orchid Inn is top notch in anti-terrorism steps of facility security and protection. In Angeles City the only other hotel on this level (or higher), is the Holiday Inn on Clark. Just some information on the question of terrorism for first time travelers coming to AC." |

"For me, I like the rooms, staff are
great, food is ok too. Pool area is a good place to sit ,have a quiet drink
and take in the local "view"! Plus it is across the road from Roy's
Bar where I hang out with my mates who live there and the food there is great
too! As I said before, everyone's taste is different. So too is
each persons budget. You don't get a big room, big pool and enough space
around the pool for a large number of people for nothing..."

"The location is right in the middle of
the action and very close to Santos Street. The rooms in the newer wing are
pretty nice, are decent size and have internet connection and in-room
safe. The pool area is nice and has a lot of activity during the day.
The cafe has good food and a big screen television. The wait staff at the
Cantina are sweet and pleasant. The breakfast buffet here is
solid, they also have different buffets during the week and their Australian
BBQ's are outstanding. Very extensive menu and good desserts."

"Something not often promoted is the
older front section of the Orchid, at the Real Street end of the
complex. It is part of the original building and the rooms are
older, but clean and comfortable. The downstairs rooms #23 and #24 have a
small sala, bedroom, CR and shower, fridge, cable TV and wardrobe. What else
do you need? You still have access to all the facilities, pool and
cantina bar that the "big spenders" get by staying in the new rooms
at the back. I have never heard a girl complain about being taken there."

March... by myself but I had reservations and arranged for the hotel to pick
me up. My suggestion is to at least have someone pick you up whether you are

| "One of the biggest advantages to me of Jasmine Wing rooms ($45/night less 10% on 10+ day stays), at Orchid is that the air-con is mounted across the hall from the room. That means a quiet room. That is worth a little extra for me. Almost nothing can spoil my sleep faster than a noisy air-con going all night. Throw in a spotlessly clean room and CR, nice towels and bed linen, a comfortable bed, in-room safe, mini-bar, quality TV, decent decor and you have an overall good room." | |

"The Orchid Inn has become my favorite
place to stay in Angeles. The facility itself is excellent. Two generators now
so everything works during brownouts. The rooms are nice and well maintained.
The restaurant is good and the pool is great. The staff are wonderful, great
attitudes and just plain nice people. The in-room safes are an excellent
feature. On top of this the location is right in the heart of things! "

"Orchid: Like everyone says, location
is perfect, this is a nice hotel with all the amenities in the heart of the
action. The staff are attractive and professional, they put up with a lot of
BS from us drunk (lasing), foreigners yet keep a smile on their face. The bar
by the pool is a great place to hang out. I really like the new Jasmine Wing
in the back, they have a security guard back there.
You can order take-out from places like the Black Pearl and just have them come to your room, they don't even have to go past the front desk, just let the guard know if they are coming. Also a great place to take a "friend" you might pick up from the Flamingo Club right in the hotel, it's right there. Great for being discreet, plus free broadband internet hook-up service for the laptop in the room.! " |

my room to be cleaned, the chamber maid walked over and handed me a $100.00
dollar bill. She said "sir it was in the sheets and I saw it when
changing your sheets" I thanked her for her honesty and later tipped her
appropriately."
"So yes, the Oasis is nice but give me the Orchid Inn any day of the week. I find it worth the extra $ 10.50 for the pool area and I like the convenience and the girls seem to like it too. It's fun to sit around the pool and watch all the girls swimming around. Now, Neil assures me that the "freeloaders" are gone and sitting in their $10.50 less a night rooms watching TV." |

Aside from service, the two greatest draws of the Orchid are the location and the pool/cantina area. As others have said, the Orchid is at ground zero of party central. From their front door you can spit to six or seven bars. The pool/cantina area has an ambience unlike any hotel in the world. Imagine a non-stop parade of cute, playful, bikini-clad Filipina's hanging out all day long in a very pretty pool and patio area." 12/14/03. keep in mind when deciding": "The (Orchid Inn), Jasmine Wing has its advantages if you want Internet access BYOL (bring your own laptop). It's also a great wing to stand by the guard station and grab the girls, as they walk by, for ST." "The Hibiscus Wing rooms are a little bit bigger I believe and they have wider passageways in front of the rooms. This wing also offers the best views of the pool. I may be wrong but I believe the Jasmine Wing rooms tend to sell out faster than the Hibiscus Wing rooms. The quality of both rooms is about the same. You can’t go wrong with either selection." |

| "I used the Orchid standard rooms and had no problems. Water was hot and not at all brown. It all depends on what you are using the room for... I would wake up at noon, maybe hit the room a couple more times real quick in the day for a shower and did not see it again until 3am. No noise problems at all." | |
